CAFCC: CAF Insists On 2pm Kick Off Time For Rangers Vs Pyramids Game

The opening CAFCC group stage fixture between Enugu Rangers and Pyramids of Egypt will kick off at 2pm and not 4pm as speculated in the Nigerian media.

Rangers management had written to CAF for a time change in the kick off to 4pm, but, the continental body insisted that 2pm will stand.

While giving clarification to the development, Rangers Team Manager, Amobi Ezeaku, in a chat with Sports Yarn Class (SYC) this Thursday, emphasized the need to let Nigerians know the correct kick off time for the match in order not to create room for soccer to miss coming out early on Sunday to support their continental hopefuls.

Rangers International who just concluded acquisition of former Super Eagles coach, Salisu Yusuf will host Pyramid FC of Egypt in the first group match of the 2019/20 CAF Confederation Cup.
