CAFCC: CAF Reject Enyimba's Appeal Against Al Ittihad

The hope of Nigeria's representative in the CAF Confederation Cup, Enyimba international to have the first leg of the playoff against Al Ittihad of Libya cancelled or played at a neutral venue have been dashed, BSNsports.com.ng can report.
The first leg was supposed to have come up on the 28th of November but was postponed indefinitely after Enyimba were denied entry into Tunisia because of Covid-19 restrictions.
The second leg went ahead as planned in Nigeria and Enyimba won 2-0.
CAF later announced December 17th as the date for the first leg in Benghazi, the decision that did not go down well with the People's Elephant.
They decided to appeal the decision for CAF to rescind the earlier decision.
According to the report coming from CAF headquarters in Cairo, the appeal has been rejected and the game will now be played on the 19th of December in Benghazi, Libya.
The overall winner over the two legs will proceed to the group stage of the competition.
