By Sampson Adedeji

The Nigeria representatives in the CAF Confederation cup Enugu Rangers and Enyimba International will know their opponents for the play off round of the competition on Wednesday.

BSN reports that Rangers defeated AS Pelicans of Gabon 4-3 on aggregates to secure their place in the play off, while Enyimba lost to Al Hilal of Sudan 1-0 over the two legs and dropped to the confederation cup.

African soccer governing body announced that the draw for CAF champions League match and confederation cup will come up on Wednesday in Cairo.

The People Elephant lost at the semi final of the competition to Raja Casablanca last season while Flying Antelopes lost out at the group stage after losing at home back to back to Tunisia sides CS Sfaxien and Etoile Du Sahel.

Confederation cup trophy remained elusive to Nigeria after Enyimba broke the champions league jinx in 2003 and won it again in 2004.
