CAFCC: Enyimba progress to group stage

For the second consecutive season Enyimba International has progressed to the group stage of the CAF Confederation cup after they recorded an emphatic 2-1 away win against the hosts TS Galaxy in South Africa.

The People's Elephant won the first leg 2-0 at the Enyimba International stadium in Aba and sat comfortably in the driving seat going into the return leg on Sunday.

The game played at the Mbombela stadium saw the two teams struggling in the early stages of the encounter.

The first half ended goalless but the Nigeria champion seized the control of the game in the second stanza by opening the scoring in 75th minute through Darwkah.

Martin Usule put the game beyond host towards the tail end of the game before Mashego reduced the deficit to 1-2.

The 4-1 aggregate win of the two-legged matches were enough for Enyimba to progress to the group stage.
