CAFCC: Kano Pillars Receive Outstanding Match Bonus

In order to motivate the players ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup match against ASC Jaaraf of Senegal, Kano State government has decided to pay all the outstanding match bonus and allowances owing the players, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
In a dinner organized for the players and technical crew of the National cup champions by the state Government on Wednesday night, the Deputy Governor, Dr. Nasir Yusuf Gawuna, said, the state Government have decided to settled the outstanding bonus to motivate the players to prepare them well for the challenges ahead of their forthcoming 2020/21 football season.
He reaffirmed the State Government commitment in giving top priority to the welfare of the team and warned them to do their best in making football loving Nigerians proud.
“Let me remind you that we are not expecting what happened last season against Asanti Kotoko to be repeated this year.
“The State Government and people of Kano have not forgotten the poor performance of the team, Gawuna told the club media.
The first leg of the double encounter will be played on Saturday 28th November 2020 in Dakar, Senegal with a return leg in Nigeria in a fortnight.
