CAFCC: Pyramid name squad for Rangers clash

Ahead of the opening group match of the CAF Confederation cup, Egyptian giant FC Pyramids has released squad for their clash against Nigeria representative Enugu Rangers.

Following their 5-1 win on aggregate against Tanzania’s Young Africans in the play-off round, Pyramids secured qualification for the CAF Confederation Cup’s group stages.

Pyramids were drawn in Group A with Al Masry, Mauritanian side FC Nouadhibou, and Nigeria’s Enugu Rangers.

Sebastien Desbare has not included summer signing Ahmed Ali in Pyramids’ travelling squad.

Club captain Abdullah El-Said is also set to miss out on his side’s clash against Enugu Rangers

The Squad

Goalkeepers: Ahmed El-Shennawy, El-Mahdi Soliman, and Ahmed Daador.

Defenders: Ali Gabr, Mohamed Hamdi, Ahmed Ayman Mansour, Omar Gaber, Abdallah Bakri, Ragab Bakar, Tarek Taha, Wilfried Kanon.

Midfielders: Ahmed Tawfik, Mohamed Farouk, Islam Issa, Eric Traoré, Lumala Abdu, Nabil Emad Dunga, Mohamed Fathi, Ibrahim Hassan.

Forwards: John Antwi, Amor Layouni, and Dodo El-Gabbas.
