CAFCC: Rangers loses to Pyramids in Enugu

It was a bad day in office for Nigeria representative in the CAF confederations cup as they fell at home to visiting FC Pyramids of Egypt in Enugu.

The Flying Antelope in front of their fans at the Nnamdi Azikwe Stadium started on the front foot but could not contained the attacking threat of the visiting Egyptian team side.

Rangers forward Ibrahim Olawoyin drew the first blood in the first stanza before Rangers captain Rope Olusesi was given a marching order late in the half.

Mohammed Farouk leveled the game from the spot after a penalty kick was awarded against the host.

Amor Layouni made it 2-1 for Pyramids before Islam Issah netted the third goal from the penalty spot to ensure maximum 3 points for the Egyptian side.
