CAFCC: Rangers Out of Competition As Nouhadhibou Hold Antelope From Flying

The hope of Nigeria's representative in the CAF Confederation Cup Enugu Rangers to secure maximum points against Nouhadhibou of Mauritania was dashed on Sunday as Nouhadhibou held Antelope from Flying in Enugu after their 1-1 draw, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The reverse fixture played at Nouhackott, in Mauritania few weeks ago ended in stalemate and Flying Antelope nursed the ambition of securing full point at home.
Played at the Nnamdi Azikiwe stadium in Enugu on Sunday, it was the visitors that dominated the first stanza and it paid as they broke the deadlock through Yasin El Welly.
The hosts seized the control of the game in the second half and dominated the proceedings.
Rangers International forward Ibrahim Olawoyin leveled the scoreline from the penalty spot later in the second half.
The game ended in 1-1, the result which saw the two teams been knocked out of the competition having lost to both FC Pryramid and Al Masry of Egypt.
Rangers also crashed out at the same stage of the competition last season.
