CAFCC: Rangers suffer defeat in Gabon

It was a bad day in office for Nigeria's representative in the CAF Confederation cup Enugu Rangers as they began their campaign on a losing note.

BSN Sports report that the Flying Antelopes were drawn bye in the last round after playing up to the group stage last season in the same competition.

The Nigeria side who took the lead early in the first stanza through Nnamdi Egbujour but lost the lead when the home side rallied back almost immediately with two quick two goals to secure a 2-1 win.

Rangers will host the second leg at the Nnamdi Azikwe Stadium in Enugu on 29th of September.

Winner over the two legs will proceed to group stage of the tournament.
