  CAFCC: Rivers United Storm Equatorial Guinea, Ready For CAF Confederation Cup Clash By Sampson Adedeji Ahead of the first leg of the preliminary round of the CAF Confederation Cup, Nigeria representative, Rivers United have landed in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea, BSNSports.com.ng reports. The Nigeria side were drawn against Futuro Kings of Equatorial Guinea in the preliminary draw held few weeks back. The team departed Port-Harcourt airport in the early hours of Thursday and arrived in Malabo about 8:30am Nigeria time. The match is slated to take place in the city of Mongomo, the Estadio De Mongomo stadium. Rivers United last represented Nigeria in the CAF inter-club competitions in 2017 and will be hoping to stamp it's authority in the continent this time around. Rivers United finished third on the log in the 2019/2020 Nigeria Professional Football League behind league leaders, Plateau United and runners-up, Enyimba International.
