CAFCC: We have to make the home games count, says Itoya

By Abidoye Babatunde

Enugu Rangers Kelvin Itoya has maintained that they will have to make their home matches count if they are to make it to the latter stages of of the CAF Confederations Cup.

Itoya speaking ahead of their opening match against Burkina's giants Salitas on Sunday 3 February said as a team they were ready for the test and urged the fans to come in large numbers to give them the needed support.

"We are well prepared for the game (against Salitas). It is a home game and we have to make it count.

In this competition if you are to go further you have to win the home games.

"The players are ready and I'm confident we will score in the tie but we can't do it alone.

We need the fans behind us and I urge everyone to come tomorrow and give us the push we need," Itoya stated.
