CAFCL: Akwa United Players Undergo Covid 19 Test Sampson Adedeji As part of the directive from the African soccer governing body that all teams must go through a coronavirus test before a game, Nigeria's representative in the champions league on Saturday undergo the test in Algeria, BSNsports.com.ng can report. The Promise Keepers arrived in Algeria in order to keep a date with CR Belouzidad in the second leg of the preliminary rounds of the competition. The players and the entire technical crew were tested and the result will be released before the game commences. The Uyo based team courtesy Ubong Friday defeated Belouzidad 1-0 at the Goodswill Akpabio stadium in Uyo last weekend. Akwa United need to protect its one-goal advantage to progress to the first round of the tournament.
