CAFCL: Al Ahly SC Ban Players From Media Engagement By Uche Dozie Al Ahly has banned its players from appearing in the media for engagement until the completion of the first game and return leg of the semi-finals of the African Champions League, BSNSports.com.ng can report. According to the club management, Captain Sayed Abdel Hafiz, the manager of football at the club, prevented the first team players from appearing in all media. Abdelhafiz's decision came to further help the team focus and prepare well for the game against Espérance on the 19th and 26th of June, 2021. The Red Devils who qualified for the semi-finals of the competition after overcoming South Africa's Mamelodi Sundowns are seeking to achieve their 10th CAF Champions League title. The two teams have played 16 times in the CAF Champions League since 2001 with the Egyptian Champions winning six as against the Blood and Gold's four wins and six draws.
