CAFCL: Al Hilal Sends Strong Warning Signal To Rivers United

Barely three weeks to the first leg of the first round of CAF Champions League against Rivers United, Sudanese side Al Hilal sent a warning signal to the Nigerian side, BSNsports.com.ng can report
The Sudanese side on Wednesday evening captured the league title with a game to spare after they defeated Almar Atbara 1-0 to emerge champion.
Apart from winning the league, club honorary president Turki Al Sheikh doled out 30 billion Sudanese pounds to the entire team of Al Hilal SC for qualifying for the next round if the champions league and winning the league.
Al Hilal qualified for the first round of the competition after they defeated Ethiopian club Fasil Kenema on away rule while Rivers United beat Tanzania club Young Africans 2-0 on aggregate.

Al Hilal will face Pride of Rivers in the first round of the champions league slated for mid-October with winner over both legs qualifying for the group stage while the loser will drop to the confederation cup.
