By Sampson Adedeji

Ahead of Saturday's CAF Champions League match between Nigeria's representative Kano Pillars and Ghana's Asante Kotoko, the team arrived the country late on Thursday night, BSN Sports understands.

The Ghana giants arrived with 18 players and alongside technical crew, and club management.

They touched down in Abuja around 7:30pm local time and were moved straight away to match venue in Kano.

They will have their only training at the match venue on Friday to have the feel of the stadium before match proper on Saturday.

Meanwhile, one of the team key player Augustine Okrah has being ruled out after the club failed to complete his registration with CAF in the last two days.

His absence will surely be a great miss for the club as he was instrumental to the club triumph in the Normalization Commitee Special competition.
