CAFCL: Enyimba get easy draw, as Pillars face daunting task

BSN Sports can report that the 2019/20 CAF Champions draw which was held at CAF headquarters in Cairo saw former African and Nigeria professional League Champion Enyimba International of Aba having a relatively easy opponent in the first round.
The Peoples Elephant will trade tackles with Burkina Faso's champion Rahimo FC with Enyimba hosting the first leg on 9th of August and second leg slated for 23rd of August in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso.
A win for Enyimba in the first round will pitch them against a tough opponents as they must contend with winner in the match between Sudanese side Al Hilal and Rwanda Champions Rayon Sports.
Though the first leg will be away from home and second taking place in Aba two weeks later.
Meanwhile, NPFL runners up Kano Pillars was given a mountain to climb as they will face Ashanti Kotoko of Ghana in the first round of the competition.
The Sai Ma Su Gida boys will play away from home against Ashanti Kotoko in Kumasi on 9th of August, 2019 with second leg at the Sani Abacha stadium, Kano two weeks later.
Winning for Pillars in the first means they will face the winner between the defending Champion Esperance of Tunisia and Hafia of Guinea in the second round with first leg away from home.
The draw means Pillars will have just 10 days to prepare for the first leg of first round with Aiteo Federation Cup final coming up on 28th of July.
