CAFCL: Enyimba Secure Away Win Over Rahimo FC

Enyimba international of Aba redeemed Nigeria image in the CAF inter-club competitions this weekend as they secured an away win against Rahimo FC of Burkina Faso in the first leg of the preliminary round of the CAF champions league, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Rivers United, Kano Pillars and Plateau United have all lost their games on Saturday and Sunday but the People's Elephant proved their mettle in far away Ouagadougou.
The game was keenly contested right from the blast of the whistle with both sides trying to stamp their authority in the game.
The first stanza ended all square as they returned into the locker room.
The Nigeria side grew in confidence in the second half and seized the control of the game.
It was Victor Mbaoma that decided the game as he netted the winning goal in the 76th minute and gave the Aba based side much needed away win.
Rahimo FC will have mountain to climb next weekend when they visit Aba international stadium for the second leg.
