CAFCL fallout: South Africa, Egypt may host replay, as CAF gives Esperance 72 hours to return trophy, medals

After much deliberations and discussion, Confederation of African Football, CAF, has ordered the replay of the 2nd leg of this year Champions league final, BSNSports.com.ng can report.
Esperance has been declared champions in controversial 2nd leg match but protest from Morocco Football Federation and Wydad Casablanca concerning the poor performance of the centre referee Papa Gassama caught worldwide attentions.
The CAF Executive met in Paris on Wednesday and rule on the game that it should be replay on a neutral ground.
South Africa and Egypt has been touted as the venue of the rescheduled match.
The match might likely be play after the 2019 African Cup of Nations in Egypt.
Meanwhile, CAF has ordered that Esperance should return the trophy and medals awarded to them within 72 hours.
