CAFCL: Kaizer Chiefs Coach Gavin Hunt Admits Simba SC Clash Will Be Tough

Ahead of the CAF Champions League quarter final clash between South Africa side, Kaizer Chiefs and Tanzanian giants, Simba SC at the FNB Stadium, Kaizer Chiefs Coach Gavin Hunts has stated that the tie will be a tough one, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The Tanzanian team who topped the group which had defending Champions Al Ahly will have to defeat the quarter-finals opponents, Simba SC before progressing to the semis and Hunts is already seeing Simba as a threat for his side.
"I have never seen them live, but I have watched a lot of footages of them. They are very athletic, very competitive, very strong, typical African team, well organized, well coached with a big following, a huge club in Tanzania.
"We are in no illusions, it is going to be a tough game for us" Hunt said in the pre-match press conference at FNB.
The Amakhosi have struggled in the league amassing a lot of draws and having a season to forget.
Nevertheless, the coach is upbeat about his team's chances despite the fans Thursday's protest on the team's recent performance.
“Well‚ that the team is prepared‚ the team is organised. As I said even on Wednesday night [after a 1-1 home draw against Swallows FC] I can’t fault the players‚ they gave me their all‚”
Chiefs finished second on nine points to Morocco’s Wydad Casablanca in Group C‚ ahead of Horoya of Guinea (nine points) and Angola’s Petro de Luanda (one).
Kaizer Chiefs is unbeaten in nine of their ten matches this season in the champions league with four wins and five draws.
