As the preliminary round of the CAF champions league draw closer, Tanzania premier league side Simba SC continue it's preparations for the annual tournament, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Nigeria Professional Football League last season table topper Plateau United will face the Tanzania side in the first preliminary round.
During a press conference on Sunday afternoon, the Chief Executive officer of the club Mohammed Dewji stated that the club possessed good players to face the Jos based team.
" Our Advantage in the champions league is that we have talented players but also to our advantage if we go to Nigeria we will play without fans," he said.
Despite the resumption of contact sports in Nigeria, the Sports ministry and health officials are yet to allow fans into their stadium.
Tanzania is one of the few country in the world that has given fans the opportunity of fans watching the football matches.
