The Pride of Rivers were the toast of everyone across the continent on Sunday after they recorded a surprising 0-1 away win over Young Africans of Tanzania in the first leg preliminary round. Moses Omomuduke netted the only goal of the game in the 56th minute and all the efforts of the host to score the leveler proved abortive. The Rivers state-based team arrived in Lagos on Monday evening around 9:12 pm local time. They are expected to arrive in Rivers state on Tuesday in order to commence preparations for the second leg slated for this weekend.
