CAFCL: Simba Coach - "I'm Very Proud of My Players"

Despite being knocked out of the quarter-finals of the CAF Champions League on goal aggregate, Coach Didier Gomes Da Rosa knows his men gave their best, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Simba FC couldn't not do the 1979 comeback of overturning a 4-0 deficit against Zambian club Mufulira Wanderers as their three zero win over Kaizer Chiefs proved only to be a phyrric victory on Saturday.
The Lions had a four goal deficit to overturn after coming down to a four nil defeat in the first leg.
However, the coach of Simba Didier Gomes Da Rosa commends the the performance of his team.
"I just want to tell you that I'm very proud of my players because they fought, they didn't give up, they try until the end.
They show very good spirit, very good fighting spirit. They were committed and I'm very proud to be the coach of these kind of players." Didier Gomes said during the post match.
John Bocco brace in both halves of the game plus a Clatous Chama's strike in the 86th minutes gave Simba the win.
