CAFCL: Stanley Eguma Reveals His Approach For The Second Leg
Sampson Adedeji
Despite winning away from home, Rivers United coach Stanley Eguma has said they are not going to relent in the second leg, BSNsports.com.ng can report.
The Nigeria's representative in the champions league on Sunday in far away Dare Salam defeated host Young Africans 0-1 in an end to end game played at the historic Benjamin Mkapa stadium.
Eguma while reacting to the result said the players need to do more in the second leg if they want to secure passage to the next round.
"They are a good side and have mobile players. we have to work on our team to ensure that we are better than what we are today.
We need to have the right mentality when we played them at home, we must not relent and fight as if we have not played the first leg.
We must put in everything in the second leg, that's going to be our approach.
The players need to rise to the occasion to ensure that we seal the qualification," he said.
Rivers United will host the second leg at the Yakubu Gowon Stadium in Port-Harcourt this weekend.
