CAFCL Team Of Week: Simba SC Players Leads Despite Quarter-Finals Ouster By Uche Dozie Simba SC Players top the team of the week list despite their exit from the quarter-finals of the CAF Champions League on Saturday by Kaizer Chiefs, BSNSport.com.ng reports. The Lions had a mountain to climb after a four nil thrashing by the chiefs in the first leg in South Africa. However, a brilliant performance by the team saw them almost do a comeback to qualify for the last four. Consequently, that performance has been acknowledged with four of their players making the eleven after the quarter-final matches. Captain John Bocco, winger Clatous Chama, Luis Miquissone and defender Muhammed Hussein all had their names in the list. Esperance ST followed with three players Farouk Ben Mustapha, Mohammed Ben Romdhane and Ghaylen Chalali. Wydad AC with two players, Ayoub ElAmloud and Walid El Karti, Al-Ahly and Mamelodi Sundowns with one each. In a 4--2-3-1 formation, Esperance Farouk Ben Mustapha is the goal keeper while Musa Lebusa, Muhammed Hussein, Yasser Ibrahim, Ayoub ElAmloud make up the defensive paring. Walid El Karti and Luis Miquissoneare are the holding midfielders. Mohammed Ben Romdhane takes the right wing Ghaylen Chalali is in front of the striker while Clatous Chama is positioned at the left flank. Saturday's man of the match star John Bocco is the centre forward of the CAFCL team of the week.
