CAFCL:
By Sampson Adedeji Ahead of the first leg preliminary round of the CAF champions league, Enyimba international coach Fatai Osho made it clear that they are not taking their opponent Rahimo football club of Burkinafaso with levity, BSNSports.com.ng reports. The People Elephant was drawn against the Burkinafaso champion in the champions league released few weeks back by the confederation of Africa Football ( CAF). Osho made it clear, that Rahimo has been preparing really hard for the match and that they overcame them last time the two met cannot be use as a yardstick. " We all know what is happening in the whole world, the pandemic has not help issue at all. A lots of teams were forced to go on break and we are not exception in that area and we came back like 2 to 3 months ago and that time we could do very little because of restrictions but then within short time we've had we have able to do one or two thing. Things is looking good for us actually. Rahimo football club, there is this impression that they will be a stroll in the park but that is a wrong notion, I must tell you. Last year we played them home and away, we lost in Burkinafaso but we are able to put 5 goals behind them in Aba, that is not enough to conclude that this time around we will beat them. I have been telling the players that we really have to be ready, two days Rahimo team we are going to play came back from Morocco for a friendly tour, that shows the intensity of their preparations. They can never be underestimated but unfortunately people don't know how good is Rahimo FC . At their national stadium in Quadadougou what thet have is natural grass but we have astro turf here in Aba, so we will go to Uyo to where is natural grass we play Akwa United fromnwe move to Lagos and from Lagos to Burkinafaso to play them," he stated. The first leg is slated for Quadadougou in Burkinafaso next weekend with return leg scheduled for Aba.
