CAFWCL: Vihiga Queens in Closed Camping For Rivers Angels Sampson Adedeji The teams participating in the inaugural edition of the CAF Women Champions League have intensified preparations as the competition date draws closer, BSNsports.com.ng can report. Rivers Angels group opponent Vihiga Queens of Kenya has resumed closed camping ahead of the tournament. Rivers Angels qualified to represent the WAFU B region after they finished as runners up to the Ghanaian club Hassacas Ladies in the final of the regional qualifier. Majority of the Vihiga Queens players are part of the Kenya female national team that participated in the 2022 African Women Cup of Nations qualifier and they are back with the team. Vihiga Queens were drawn in the same group B alongside Rivers Angels, Mamelodi Sundown and ASFAR FC of Morocco. The competition is slated to kick off on the 5th of November in Egypt.
