CAHB Women Championship: Cameroon Defeats Nigeria By Uche Dozie The Nigerian women handball team has lost its second match in the ongoing African Women Handball Championship in Yaoundé, Cameroon, BSNSports.com.ng can report. The team fell to host Cameroon on Thursday evening in the second game after losing the first match to DR Congo. The team had a brilliant encounter in the first phase of the game after losing by a goal difference; 14-13. However, the team seemed to fall like a pack of cards as it could only score six more goals and conceded eighteen more goals to lose 31-19 at the end. The Nigerian team is now in a tight corner as it needs to beat Kenya handsomely in the late game to expect qualification to the next round via the best loser bert. They play Kenya on Saturday.
