Cameroon Government Pumps $500,000 into The League

Following the refusal of league clubs in Cameroon to continue playing the league due to financial constraints, the country government has decided to boost the league.

The top tier league has been on suspension for the past few weeks after clubs refused to continue playing due to financial issues plaguing them.

The government on Monday announced a whooping FCFA 300 million ( $500,000) has a boost for the top tier league.

Each club needed FCFA 910 million ( $1.5m) but will get 11 million FCFA instead.

The second phase of the league which supposed to have start in December 2019, will now commence on January 29th ,2020.
