Cameroon To Host FIBA Women’s AfroBasket 2021 By Uche Dozie Cameroon will host the FIBA Women’s AfroBasket 2021 after announcement by FIBA on Wednesday, BSNSports.com.ng reports. The announcement was made after the host agreement was signed by the Cameroon Sports Minister Kombi Mouelle on behalf of the Cameroon Government according to FIBA.com. The last time the central African country hosted the tournament was in 2015 when they finished second that year. Five countries - defending champions, Nigeria, Senegal, Mali, Mozambique and host Cameroon have all qualified as seven more spots are up for grabs as qualifies continue. 2021 Afrobasket will take place from September 17-26 in Yaounde Multipurpose Sports Complex in the Cameroonian capital.
