Cameroon's Onana Suspended For A year, Doubtful For AFCON 2021

Indomitable Lions of Cameroon and Ajax Amsterdam first choice goalkeeper Andre Onana has been suspended for a year by UEFA over doping violations, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
European soccer governing body on Friday afternoon announced that a positive doping control carried out on October 30 out of competition.
He was tested positive for Furosemide a drug that has already been banned.
“ The substance Furosemide was found in the urine of the warden. The suspension is effective from today and applies to all football activities, national and international," UEFA said.
The sanctions could also deprives Onana the opportunity of representing indomitable Lions at the 2022 African Cup Of Nations which will be hosted by his country.
According to reports, Ajax has the intention of appealing the judgement at the court of Arbitration for Sports ( CAS).
