Carabao cup: First Everton goal excites Iwobi

Nigeria's Super Eagles midfielder Alex Iwobi seems to have settled down at the Goodison Park with his new club Everton FC.

BSN reports that Iwobi joined the Tofees this summer from another English Premier league side Arsenal in club record transfer fee .

The skilful midfielder made his debut in the premier league as a substitute ahainst Aston Villa and distinguished himself with amazing performance.

Iwobi had his first start on Wednesday in the Carabao cup against Lincoln and made it count as he scored the third for Everton in their 4-2 away win.

"First start, first goal for the blues, going through to the next round," he wrote.

Iwobi was among the players Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr invited for international friendly against Ukraine in September.
