CAS Fallout: CAF Disciplinary committee meet on Wednesday

Following the Court for Arbitration for Sports overruled the CAF decision to replay the Champions League second leg final between defending champions Esperance of Tunisia and Wydad Casablanca of Morocco, the Disciplinary committee of CAF are scheduled to meet on Wednesday, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The match was stopped by Gambia referee Papa Gassama after Wydad refused to continue the match following the annulment of their goal.
Espearance was declared winner and presented with the trophy and medal, but Wydad protested which led to a replay at a neutral venue ordered by CAF.
The Disciplinary Committee will review the case of the final return of the African Champions League 2018-2019 and CAS decision.
The disciplinary committee of the CAF specifies that the Esperance and the Federation of Tunisia Football have until Tuesday to present all their documents for Wednesday's meeting.
President Blood and Gold Hamdi Meddeb is also invited to this meeting.
