CBN Governor, Otedola Splash Dollars On Super Eagles Sampson Adedeji Following their impressive performance in the ongoing 2021 African Cup of Nations in Cameroon, Super Eagles players are set to get cash rewards if they win the competition, BSNsports.com.ng can report. The Super Eagles Hotel la Rabidou camp in Garoua came alive on Wednesday with the visit of trio Central Bank Governor Godwin Emefiele, Femi Otedola and Aliko Dangote. The governor of the Apex bank confirmed that business mogul Femi Otedola will give them Naira worth of $250,000 should they win the tournament. He further said a consortium of private companies in the country will give $50,000 for every goal scored starting from the round of 16. Similar thing happened in the last edition of the competition in Egypt as Otedola and Dangote were on hand to motivate the players with cash rewards. Nigeria finished with a bronze medal in Egypt but hoping to recapture the trophy they last won in 2013 this time around.
