CD Leganes Confirm Omeruo Return

Nigeria's Super Eagles and CD Leganés center-back, Kenneth Omeruo returned to the pitch a month after the injury that kept him away from playing in the club's last five games, BSNSports.com.ng reports
The Nigerian international reappeared in the final stretch of the just relegated club clash against Rayo Vallecano.
Omeruo who sustained injury on November 1 during the match against CD Mirandés with a muscle problem has returned and hope to keep his place and help the club return back to the La Liga.
The former Chelsea player missed the matches against Albacete Balompié, AD Alcorcón, Málaga CF, RCD Espanyol and SD Ponferradina, as well as the international matches with Nigeria last November.
José Luis Martí gave him entry in the 90th minute of the derby against Rayo Vallecano, when CD Leganés played with ten after the expulsion of Rubén Pérez.

Omeruo replaced José Arnaiz and helped maintain the Blue and White victory over the Franjirrojos in extra time.
