Chairman FCT FA Urges PTF To Roll Out Modalities For Resumption of Sports

FCT FA Chairman, Alhaji Adam Muktar Mohammed has urged the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on Covid-19 to quickly roll out modalities for the resumption of sports in Nigeria amid Covid19 pandemic, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

The FCT football supremo says the rampaging virus came a shock to the whole advised that Nigerian government come up with a protocol suitable for sports resumption.

"We are still in shock because we still cant participate and we have not been able to device a protocol that suitable for us to resume and you can see that the league has been stopped and concluded. It is just unfortunate that we haven't been able to help out the stakeholders."

Showing concerns over the wellbeing of players and coaches since the outbreak of the Coronavirus.

"So, it is devastating because we have not done an impact assessment. We dont know the situation of players, how coaches are surviving."

"My advice is that we need to act very fast and decisive and ensure that we dont have damage what we have with long term impact on sports.
