Championship: Akpom Secures Maximum Point for Middlesbrough

Newly acquired Nigeria born, Middlesbrough striker, Chuba Akpom continue to make headline in the England championship as he put up another wonderful display on Saturday against Barnsley, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Akpom joined the Riverside club this summer from Greek premier league side, Paok Saloniki and has hit the ground running for the club.
After scoring in his debut match last weekend, he was the cynosure of all eyes again this weekend as Boro defeated Barnsley 2-1.
Jonathan Howson netted the first goal in the 45th minute before Akpom added the second goal three minutes later.
Cauley Woodrow halved the deficit from the penalty spot in the 89th minute and ended the match 2-1.
Middlesbrough are 10th on the log with 7 points from four games.
Despite playing for England Junior Three Lions, Akpom is still eligible to represent Nigeria's Super Eagles in a future competitions.
