Ahead of the match day 42 of the English championship, Watford FC is already swelling to get Nigeria's Super Eagles defender William Troost Ekong fit for the match, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Since the start of the season Ekong has been one of the star performer of the club as they continue their quest to return to the premier league.
The Nigeria international was substituted in the last game against Readings as a precautionary measure for the upcoming fixrures.
The medics through the club news outlets revealed that Ekong is pushing to be part of the game this weekend against Luton Town but the head coach will have final say on friday.
Watford is presently in a good position on the table to secure an automatic ticket back to the premier league having placed second with 82 points in 41 matches.
