Championship: Ekong Set For Watford Move

The reports coming from England indicated that Super Eagles and Udinese of Italy defender, William Troost-Ekong, is on the verge of England switch, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Ekong joined the Serie A side few years back and has become an integral of the club.

Watford suffered relegation from the premier league last season after few years in the division.

The 27 year old started his career with Tottenham Hotspur before moving to Netherlands where he get to represent Junior Orange.

The reports has it that, Ekong is set to having his medical after the two clubs have agreed terms.

The move seems easy because both club belong to same owner, the Pozzo family who also owned Spanish La Liga club, Granada.

If the deal materializes, he will joined the likes of Jude Ighalo and Danny Shittu who have played for the club in the past while the duo of Isaac Success and Tom Dele-Bashiru are still with the club.
