Championship: Ekong, Success, Dele-Bashiru Return To The Premier League With Watford

Watford FC officially secured their return to the Premier League on Saturday, just one season after leaving the top flight of English football, BSNSports.com.ng reports
The trio of Nigeria Internationals, William Troost Ekong, Isaac Success and Tom Dele-Bashiru are on the pay roll of the Hornets.
It was only Ekong that features on Saturday afternoon at the Vicarage in the game against Millwall.
A year after returning to the EFL Championship, Watford FC will return to the top flight next season. The Yellow and Black, second in the English Second Division Championship, behind the untouchables of Norwich 1st, 88 points, validated on Saturday, afternoon, their accession to the Premier League by winning (1 -0) at Vicarage Road at the end of Matchday 44
With two games to go to the end of the season, Watford is now ten and eleven points ahead of its closest rival Brentford (3rd, 78 points with one game late), Bournemouth (4th, 77 points) and Barnsley (5th, 77 points).
After spending five seasons in the Premier League, which he joined in the 2015-2016 season, Watford had moved down to the EFL Championship by finishing 19th in PL in the 2019-2020 season.
Ekong featured prominently throughout the season while injury hampered the contributions of Success and Dele-Bashiru.
