Championship: Injury Forces Balogun Off In Wigan Defeat.

Nigeria's Super Eagles defender Leon Balogun was substituted in the early minute of the championship match played on Saturday against Brentford.

The Lactics during the week entered administration which will led to deduction of 12 points from the already acrrued points, BSN Reports.

Balogun who was on loan from the premier league club Brighton Hove Albion sustained injury in the early part of the match and was replaced in the 6th minute by Gavin Massey.

Former Mainz 05 defender signed a dotted lines last week to end the season with Wigan and was unavailable last week due to injury.

The extent of the injury is yet to be ascertain.
