CHAN 2020: CAF and Cameroon considers June for the competition

After a successful outing for 2019 African Cup of Nations, Confederation of African Football (CAF) has considered moving the 2020 CHAN competition from January to mid year, BSNSports.com.ng reports

BSN Sports can report that the African soccer ruling body moved AFCON from traditional January/February to June/July last year after it was agreed that players always has release issue either from their various clubs.

The just concluded AFCON was hugely a success which prompted the body alongside Cameroon who will host the competition to consider same period for CHAN.

The decision is yet to be ratified has it is being put into consideration because June is always a raining season in Cameroon.

It will be a back to back hosting for Cameroon as they will still stage 2021 African Cup of Nations.
