CHAN 2020: CAF Suspends, Fines Tunisia

The Confederation of African football ( CAF) has wielded a big stick on Tunisia home based Carthage Eagles and also slammed them with fines.
The Tunisia Football Federation pull of participation from the upcoming 2020 Championship of African Nations (CHAN) slated for Cameroon in April, BSN Reports.
The North African country pulled out after top clubs in the country refused to release their players for the competition.
The African football body on Friday suspended Tunisia from taking in the 2022 edition and fined them $50,000.
CAF has extended invitation letter to Libya to replace Tunisia in the tournament.
