By Sampson Adedeji

Few days to the much awaited second leg of 2020 Championship of African Nations qualifier match between Nigeria's Super Eagles and Sparrow Hawks of Togo, Coach Imama Amapakabo has stated that his lads need to be focused and determined in order to turn the table against the Togolese and be at the competition finals in Cameroon, BSNSports.com.ng understands..

Togo shocked Nigeria 4-1 in Lome in the first leg of the qualifier and that scoreline put them in control and in advantageous state going into the return leg in Nigeria.

The Nigeria side has been in Camp since their return from the WAFU Cup last week and have also intensified their training at the Goal Project, Package B of Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja.

Amapakabo recognized that they have a big task at hand but believed is achievable if the boys put their act together.

"We have a big job at hand, and I have been drumming it into the ears of the players that we cannot afford to fail.

"The Togolese won 4-1 on their home ground; nothing says we cannot do better on our own home ground.

"We have to be focused and determined. We must create chances and put them away, because we cannot afford not to be at the African Nations Championship.”

The match slated for Agege stadium in Lagos and the winner over the two legs secure passage to the competition in Cameroon next year.
