  CHAN 2021: Two Nigeria Referees Listed By Sampson Adedeji Ahead of the 2021 Championship of African Nations (CHAN), Confederation of African Football (CAF) has released the list of Referees and Assistant Referees for the competition, BSNSports.com.ng reports. According to the list released by the football body, 15 centre referee were listed, 20 assistant referee while 8 Video Assistant Referee (VAR) and 4 Assistant Video Assistant Referee (AVAR). Despite Nigeria's Super Eagles not qualifying for the competition, two Nigeria match officials were listed among the referee. The duo of Samuel Pwadutakam (male) and Mimisien Iyorhe (female) make the final cut for the competition. The competition is slated to kick off on 16th January 2021 with opening involving host Cameroon and Zimbabwe.
