CHAN Qualifier: Amapakabo invites 8 new players

Ahead of the all important second leg match of 2020 Championship of African Nations (CHAN) qualifier between Nigeria's Super Eagles B team and Sparrow Hawks of Togo, the coach of the Nigeria side Imama Amapakabo has invited eight new players to beef up the team, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

BSN reports reports Togo shockingly defeated Eagles B side 4-1 in the first leg match played fortnight ago which put the Nigeria qualification in a dicey situations.

Top of players invited are Katsina United midfielder Destiny Ashadi, Rangers Anthony Shimaga Enyimba's defender Ifeanyi Anaemena and goalkeeper Ikechukwu Ezenwa who is presently with Super Eagles A team in Singapore.

The match scheduled for next weekend in Nigeria with Eagles needing three goals margin in order to advance to the competition proper.

The 2020 CHAN tournament will be hosted by Cameroon in January.
