Chidera Ejuke, 5 Others In Eagles Camp Ahead 2021 AFCON By Niyi Busari CSKA Moscow forward, Chidera Ejuke is the latest invited players to hit the camp of Super Eagles in preparation for the 2021 African Nations Cup in Cameroon. Earlier before his arrival, Kaizer Chiefs goal tender, Daniel Akpeyi, UD Almeria striker, Sodiq Umar, Orlando Pirate defender, Olisa Ndah, Enyimba goalkeeper, John Noble and Union Berlin striker, Taiwo Awoniyi were the early birds to hit the camp since it was declared opened on Wednesday. The Super Eagles on its official Facebook page posted, "Update! Chidera Ejuke has arrived. 6 players in camp. Chidera Ejuke (CSKA Moscow, Russia), Daniel Akpeyi(Kaizer Chiefs, South Africa), Sadiq Umar(UD Almeria, Spain), Olisa Ndah(Orlando Pirates, South Africa), John Noble(Enyimba FC), Taiwo Awoniyi(Union Berlin, Germany). #SoarSuperEagles #Team9jaStrong #AFCON2021." The three-time African champions are expected to leave Nigeria for the venue of the 33rd AFCON on January 5, 2022. The tournament kicks off January 9 and ends February 6.
