Newly acquired Nigeria's Super Falcons and Real Madrid Femino midfielder Rita Chikwelu proved her mettle on Sunday in the primera ibedrola league.

Chikwelu moved to Spain from the Swedish side Kriststad for the remainder of the season few days ago.

She underlined her importance to the team as they defeated Athletic Club 3-1, she netted one of the goals.

The match against Athletic club was her first start for the club having played as a substitute in the past few matches
