China Tourney: Super Falcons suffer defeat

Nigeria's Super Falcons suffered defeat in the opening game of the 4-Nation Invitational tournament currently going on in China, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Nigeria team find the Chinese women team hard but to crack has they lost to them 3-0.

China drew the first blood in the 9th minute of the game through Zhang Rui despite Nigeria team trying to be the better side.

The second stanza seems to be for the host as Steel Roses seized the play from the Nigerians and dominated the play.

Their domination paid off in the 65th minutes with a fine finish from Li Ying off an assist from Wu Shuiang.

Li Ying completed her brace in the added time of 90th minutes to condemned Falcons to their first defeat after they won AWCON in Ghana.
