Newly invited Nigeria's Super Eagles midfielder Joe Aribo has stated that the decision to choose Nigeria over England was an easy decision for him.

BSN Sports reports that Aribo was among the players invited to the Super Eagles by coach Gernot Rohr for the forthcoming international friendly match against Ukraine .

Glasgow Rangers forward was speaking ahead of their big weekend league clash against Celtic.

From when I was young I knew I wanted to play for Nigeria. So I was just happy to get the call up and it was the best decision I made really."

"I will be nervous until I get comfortable around the rest of the squad and build friendships."

Nerves aside, Aribo says making the choice to play for Nigeria was an easy decision: "I had no hesitation.

When resumed to the national team, Aribo is expected to compete with Everton midfielder Alex Iwobi for the team creative position.
