Christain Samuel: I would have been Lawyer If not for Football

Striker Christain Samuel who is yet to make his debut with the Umuahia Warriors is the first player to feature in the maiden Edition of the programme and he revealed his childhood dream Career before he settled for the round leather game.

The former Gateway FC winger had always dreamt of being a lawyer since his childhood and still has the plan to pursue his dream profession after his professional football career.
“My journey towards being a professional footballer has never been my plan since day one because I took the game for a hobby as I have always dreamt of being a lawyer”
 
“I fell in love with the Profession because of the way they are being respected in the society and because I hate seeing people being oppressed as I always wished to be a voice for the voiceless in the society”
 
“My parents just like every other African parents always wanted the best of formal Education for me but they were quiet supportive when I opted to turn a professional footballer”
 
“I thank God for the height I have attained in this part and I keep dreaming of reaching the apex of my career and my dreams of being a ‘Learned man’ will be achieved by God's grace after my football career ”
 
“It has been challenging and hard staying off the game  for months after my ‘Appendix Operation’ but there is nothing I can do about it untill the doctors certify me fit”
 
“I have started light exercises and in few weeks time after the rehabilitation processes, I will bounce back and I cannot wait to wear the Jersey of Abia Warriors”

The dashing winger who joined the Umuahia Warlords at the beginning of the current football season has been sidelined for months as he went under the knife for a ruptured appendix operation.
